Somehow Emmalee grew up without me realizing it, and she turned 7 on December 7. She wanted to celebrate with a baking themed party, so we indulged her and had 3. It started with the O'Dell family party, where the kids cut out and decorated sugar cookies, decorated cupcakes, and made their own pizzas. Decorating cupcakes with the O'Dell cousins
Emmalee licking every. last. bit. of sugar off her fingers

Next we celebrated with her friends at another baking party at our church. We ended up with 17 little girls who giggled and played and had a great time. They colored baking crafts, made homemade chocolate chip cookies, ate pizza, and decorated cupcakes. Everyone was full of sugar when we sent them home!!

Following the friend party, we went home and got ready for the Powell family party.
Opening her drum set from Gamma and Pappi-this was by far her favorite gift!!!
Emmalee has been the light of our lives since the moment she was born. She makes us laugh, smile, and sometimes even cry on a daily basis. Her heart is surely made of gold, as she puts others before herself (even having her friends bring presents for sick children at Children's Mercy instead of for her). She makes us proud every second of every day! Happy 7th birthday Sugar Plum Fairy!!!
